    They’re a message or sequence of messages sent to someone who added an item to their shopping cart, but failed to complete the purchase. Not contacting these customers is leaving money on the table — almost 70% of shopping carts are abandoned on average.

    There are a lot of reasons why someone abandons a cart. Perhaps the shopper didn't have their credit card in front of them or wanted to browse your site a bit more before making a decision.
