Two things happened this week that I'm still processing.
First: I built a live Shopify dashboard inside Claude before my second coffee.
And second: I went on a podcast and talked about all of it out loud, which somehow made it feel even more real. 😍
Let me start with the dashboard.
A few weeks ago I mentioned I was building something for e-commerce founders. Something practical, not theoretical.
This is part of it.
I connected our Shopify store to Claude, gave it some direction, and within about 20 minutes I had a dashboard pulling real data. Live numbers. Actual insights.
Not a pretty report someone built for me.
Something I built. Me. The accountant who used to think "technical" was someone else's job.
And here's what surprised me most... it wasn't the build itself.
It was what the data showed.
Things most store owners aren't seeing because they're too busy running their store to stop and look. Conversion drop-offs hiding in plain sight. Products quietly underperforming while others carry the whole weight. Traffic patterns that tell a story nobody's reading.
The dashboard didn't give me new data.
It gave me clarity on data I already had.
That's the bit I keep coming back to.
The second thing.
I sat down with Brooke Wright on her podcast Not
