Hey,

Normally, I’m in your inbox talking about what we’re building, testing, fixing flows, pages, strategy, all of it.

But today felt like a good day not to do that.

These are our mums. 👸🏻

They’re not in Slack.

Not in Figma.

Not reviewing builds or asking about conversion rates.

But they would ask if we’ve eaten.

Or why we’re still working at this hour.

Or if we really needed to “change that again.”

And honestly… they’d probably be right most of the time.

They’re a big part of the reason we show up the way we do.

The way we think things through.

The way we care about the details.

The way we follow up (and follow through, because yes, someone will notice if we don’t).

It’s funny, none of that came from a playbook. 😅

And in a space that’s getting faster, more automated, and a little more, same same…

Those small, very human habits probably matter more than we think.

So today’s really just a quiet thank you to the women who raised us, shaped us, and still show up in the way we work (whether we realise it or not).

If you’re celebrating today, I hope you get a proper break, or at least someone else decides what’s for dinner.

And if not, there’s probably still a mum somewhere reminding you to drink water. 😁
