🧑🎄What Decorating the Tree Taught Me About Life and Business🎄
Sundays with Anna | Newsletter #11
One morning someone asked me, “How does your tree look lovely this year?”
I actually replied - it's a mixed mash-up of colour and ornaments! Haha!
With 3 kids, anything goes!
As someone who prides herself on being a bit of an OCD control freak, letting go doesn’t come naturally.
I’ll admit, part of me wanted to micromanage every ornament’s placement.
But this year, I decided to step back, let the kids take the lead, and embrace the chaos.
And you know what? The result is far from Pinterest-perfect, but it’s ours.
Here’s a snippet of how our Christmas tree turned out!
Every crooked ornament and clashing colour tells a story and the joy on my kids’ faces? Worth it!
It’s a reminder that I’m carrying into my business, too.
Sometimes the best outcomes come not from controlling every detail but from trusting the process—and the people around you.
Whether it’s handing over tasks, brainstorming without judgment, or simply taking a moment to breathe, letting go can be liberating.
This holiday season, I hope you find your own version of joy in the messiness—whether it’s in your home, your work, or simply the little moments you let unfold naturally.
Wishing you a wonderfully imperfect holiday season,
Anna
P.S. What’s something you’re letting go of this holiday season? I love reading your response.
