Klaviyo Back-in-Stock Notification Setup

Overview

This service covers the setup of a back-in-stock notification system for your Shopify store using Klaviyo. When a product goes out of stock, customers can request to be notified when it becomes available again — and Klaviyo will send them an automated email once it's restocked.

What's Included:

• 1 x "Notify Me" Button Setup — A "Notify Me When Available" button will be configured to automatically appear on product pages when an item's inventory reaches zero. This button is set up and managed entirely through Klaviyo's form editor, which controls when and where it displays on your storefront.
  
  
• 1 x Notify-Me Popup Modal — The popup modal appears when a customer clicks the "Notify Me" button. The customer can then enter their email address to join the waitlist for that product variant. The popup modal can be customized through Klaviyo to match your store's basic branding — including button text, colors, fonts, and the confirmation message shown after a customer signs up.
  
  
• 3 x Back-in-Stock Email templates — An automated email flow will be created in Klaviyo to notify subscribed customers when the product they signed up for is back in stock. 
  
  
  • 1 x notify-me confirmation email
  • 2 x back-in-stock notification emails
    
    
• Basic Flow Configuration — The back-in-stock flow will be configured with a single notification email with a customizable template. This includes the product name, a link back to the product page, and your store's basic branding. You can use Klaviyo's default content copy or provide the exact copy and images to use in the email.

Requirements

• An active Klaviyo account (free or paid plan) connected to your Shopify store
• Inventory tracking must be enabled in Shopify for all relevant products
• The "Continue selling when out of stock" setting must be disabled on the relevant products for the button and flow to function correctly — if this setting is on, Klaviyo cannot detect when a product is out of stock or restocked.

Scope of Customization

The "Notify Me" button, popup modal, and email flow will be customized within the standard options available in Klaviyo. This includes text, images, colors and fonts, and basic layout adjustments. Please provide images/logos and content you want to see in the popup modal.

Any customization requests beyond the standard Klaviyo configuration — such as custom-coded templates, changes to button placement outside of Klaviyo's default settings, or multi-email flow sequences — will be reviewed separately and may be subject to additional fees.
